Nelco has 46 Implements/Equipment certified by the International Association of Athletic Federations (IAAF) for use at major athletic events. It may be noted that only IAAF Certified Equipment can be used in major athletic events and only records set with IAAF Certified Equipment are recognized in the books.

Nelco is the only manufacturer from India to be allowed to use NIAAA logo on its equipment in the U.S.A. NIAAA is the U.S. athletic equipment standard governing body.

Nelco has also been rewarded by a Brand Promotion Award by the Sports Goods Export Promotion Council of India (SGEPC) ever since the inception of the award since the year 2000-01 and numerous other Export Excellence Awards for the past 3 decades. The company has also been facilitated by the Prime Minister of India.
